Alex loves to cook! His favorites are shark and ice cream, for pretend (as he likes to say). But he does really help out cooking dinner- he loves to help make meatballs and burgers, a very hands-on process. And he loves to dress the part!

A week ago we decided to take Alex’s training wheels off, but had a less than successful first attempt at getting Alex to ride. He did try, and while did succeed in riding a bit at a time, he didn’t really realize it. Yesterday, however, Alex did a great job riding, and we managed to catch a bit of it on video before the camera’s battery died. He’s very excited at being a bike rider now.

I managed to catch some video of Christina playing with Aaron the other day, he was giving us some good smiles. Just a reminder, at the bottom of the page there’s a screen that will let you see all the videos in one place, you won’t even leave the page. Been a while, but we’ve finally got some new pictures up. Check out the gallery to take a look.
We just got back from a trip to Big Bear Lake, did some snowboarding and spent some time with family in a cabin we rented. Alex had his first experiences with snow, went tubing and had his first snowball fight. Everyone had a great time, and we’ve got the pictures online to prove it. There’s a new link to the gallery on the right, just click “Gallery” and you’ll be there.
So I found a better gallery plugin for wordpress (the blog software this site is based on) that seems to be much better than the one we were using. I’ve installed it and have it working, but the link for gallery has changed, and might change again in the future as I get things working better on this side. In the meantime, here’s a direct link to the new gallery.

We just added a new set of pictures of Alex and Harry at the Aquarium of the Pacific. Alex had a blast looking at all the fish and he even got to touch sharks and rays (which he petted saying,”Nice…”, like he does when he pets dogs and cats). He loves showing us now how he bites like a shark, and it was great to see the concentration he put into looking at everything. As usual, the pics are up on the gallery page.
We’ve gotten a bunch of new pictures up from last weekend, it was great to be back in Florida and with family and friends. Still haven’t gotten everything on the site the way we want it, but at least the pictures are available. http://alex.porudominsky.com/gallery.php is the link to our gallery page, but we’ve been having some trouble with flickr, the photo service we’re using to host the pictures, so if you run into an error message on the gallery page, you can still get to the images by clicking one of the pictures on the right column.
